
Congratulations to the Waubay/Summit Mustangs boys basketball team on qualifying for the SoDak 16! The Mustangs will take on the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers. The following is the most updated information:
When: Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 pm
Where: Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School
Waubay School will dismiss at 2:30 following a team send-off. The players will get on the charter bus in Waubay as a team. The public may line up along Main Street in their vehicles to wave and honk at the bus. At 2:45 there will be a pep rally in the Summit School gym that is open to the public. Summit School will dismiss following the pep rally and there will be NO OST Tuesday.
A fan bus is currently being discussed and information will be passed on as soon as it becomes available.
Doors will open one hour prior to game time (5:30). Winner of the SoDak 16 game will punch a ticket to the 2022 State B Tournament in Aberdeen on March 16-18.

Congrats to the Mustang BBB team on their region win. They will advance to the SoDak 16 on Tuesday to play for a shot at the State B tournament! Opponent, time and location TBA.

The Mustang Boys Basketball team will take on Warner on Friday night in Webster for a berth in the SoDak 16. The Mustangs will play the second game, starting at approximately 7:45. If you can't make it to Webster, you can watch the live stream on bearcat.tv. Go Mustangs!

Tonight's Region 1B Basketball game will be held at Summit at 7:00. We take on Leola/Frederick. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students. These prices are set by the SDHSAA. NO ACTIVITY TICKETS OR PASSES OTHER THAN REGION 1B PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED!!
The game will be broadcast on NFHS Network.

The Region 1B boys basketball bracket is set. The Mustangs are set to play on Tuesday, March 1 at 7pm in Summit versus Leola/Frederick. There will only be one game that night. No activity tickets will be accepted.

Tonight's Mustangs GBB Region game at Britton will be livestreamed on the NFHS Network at 7pm.

Be a Hero Hat Day
Friday, February 25
Donate $1 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and wear a hat all day.
We are also encouraging anyone with a Team Amy shirt to wear it on Friday.

There will be no O.S.T tonight, Wednesday, February 23. I apologize for the late notice and inconvenience.

Summit School will be 2 hours late on Wednesday, February 23. There will be no NTHS, no breakfast and the band will not attend the regional ensemble in Watertown.

Due to snow, wind and wind chill, Summit School will be closed on Tuesday, February 22. No NTHS.

Due to weather affecting tonight’s play in game, the girls basketball region game at Britton will be pushed to Thursday at 7.

Summit School is closed today, Monday, February 21 due to extremely poor visibility and blowing and drifting snow.

The Region game in Britton will start at 7:00.

The Mustang Girls basketball team has earned the #5 seed in the Region 1B tournament and will take on #4 Britton Hecla on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Britton. Time TBA.

Today’s BBB game in Wahpeton bs. Hankinson will be live streamed at 3 Borders Sports Channel on YouTube. Search “3 Borders Sports”

Water is back on in Waubay. We will continue our double header in Waubay tonight as scheduled.
