Mustangs advance to the State B Consolation Championship with a victory over Aberdeen Christian on Friday. Waubay-Summit will take on Castlewood at 1:45 on Saturday at the Barnett Center.

There will be a welcome home for the team on Sunday, March 20 at noon in the Waubay Gym.

Dress up days for the State Tournament!


Good evening, there will be NO SCHOOL in Summit on Thursday, March 17 to allow staff and students the opportunity to attend the Mustangs State tournament game at noon in Aberdeen. The Mustangs will play DeSmet at the Barnett Center at Northern State.

A fan bus has been organized for tomorrow's SoDak 16 game. It will depart from the Waubay School at 4:00, and pickup at the Summit School at 4:15. The fan bus is only open to students in grades 7-12 and will have chaperones from each school. Students must bring $4 for admission to the game, but the travel is free.

Good evening, this is Mike Schmidt from the Summit School. Please bear with me, this will be a fairly long message about our busy upcoming week.
First, Summit School will be dismissing at 12:30 on Monday for Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will run from 2:00 – 7:00 on Monday evening.
On Tuesday, the Mustang Boys Basketball Team will travel to Sioux Falls Roosevelt to take on Platte Geddes in the SoDak 16 for a chance to go to the State B tournament. The game will be at 6:30. We will have a pep rally in the gym at 2:45 – the public is invited – and then dismiss school following the pep rally to allow staff and students to get to the game. Bus students will be home a little early. There will be NO OST on Tuesday.
There is NO SCHOOL on Thursday and Friday for Spring Break. Thank you for your time and Go Mustangs!
